Momentum Investments Phambili Bursary 2024
Momentum Investments is looking to empower unemployed South African youth by providing them with easy access to quality education. Moreover, the company also wants to create a pipeline of talent that could be utilized in the organization later on.
Momentum has announced its Phambili Bursary Programme which feeds into its Phambili Internship Programme that is targeted towards students who are willing to work for an investment business in the future years.
Momentum Investments is inviting top academic students in South Africa coming from disadvantaged backgrounds to apply for the Phambili Bursary Programme. Through this bursary, students will be able to complete their studies and build a successful career.
The Phambili Bursary will cover complete tuition fees, accommodation, and textbooks.
After completing the degree successfully, the graduates may get an opportunity to join Momentum Investments as an intern.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Momentum Investments Phambili Bursary, students must abide by the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have been accepted at an accredited public university for qualification towards a BSc or BCom Undergraduate Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, IT, Investments Management, Financial Management, Accounting, or similar fields.
- Must be in their first, second, or third year of degree
- Must belong to a previously disadvantaged background such that their combined household income is less than R600k per year (Momentum Investments will require proof of income)
- Must have achieved a minimum academic average of 65% for the previous year of degree.
The number of bursaries available is limited.
