AECI Bursary 2023
AECI Mining has announced the opening of applications for their bursary programme for the academic year 2023.
This opportunity is available for students interested in pursuing studies in the fields of Engineering and Computer Science. A total of 15 bursaries will be awarded to deserving candidates.
AECI Mining is particularly interested in students who display a strong passion for engineering and computer science and who are eager to contribute to the growth and advancement of the explosives and chemical manufacturing industry. The bursary programme aims to support these students in their pursuit of academic excellence and skill development, enabling them to forge successful careers within the industry.
Recipients of the bursary will receive financial assistance to cover essential expenses, including tuition fees, textbooks, and accommodation. This support will alleviate the financial burden on students, allowing them to focus on their studies and maximize their potential.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following entry requirements. It is important to note that failure to fulfill all the requirements would result in the disqualification of your application:
- You must be a citizen of South Africa.
- You must have successfully completed Matric (Grade 12) or its equivalent.
- You should currently be enrolled or intend to pursue a qualification in one of the specified fields (mentioned above) during the year 2023.
- Your studies must be undertaken or intended to be pursued at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution within South Africa.
- It is required that you have a clean criminal record.
