About Dr JS Moroka Local Municipality

The Nkangala District in north-west Mpumalanga houses the Dr JS Moroka Local Municipality, the smallest among the six municipalities in the district, covering only 8% of the area. Siyabusawa serves as the capital town, and the municipality plays a significant role in the economic landscape of the Cities of Johannesburg and Tshwane, as well as the Municipalities of Emalahleni and Steve Tshwete.
