About For Coloured Girls
For Coloured Girls is one of the many non-profit organisation that works towards the betterment of coloured young girls in South Africa. It supports girls aged 8 to 12 in achieving academic success.
The organisation was founded by Geraldine Engelman, a woman of colour with over 20 years of executive leadership experience. She founded it with other successful members of the black community who have been subjected to challenges faced by people of color. Together, they aim to uplift the young girls from the community and provide support in their academic years. For Coloured Girls is funded by individual donors who want to contribute to making change happen.
