About
Oasis Group Holdings (Pty) Limited was founded in June 1997 when it appointed Asset Management to its portfolio. It has since then, become a South African holding company to a financial services group of companies that specialise in investment management and fund administration. The company’s product and services include savings products such as unit trusts, endowments and foreign funds, and retirement products which covers pre and post retirement funds. Oasis has a head office in Cape Town, Africa and has an offshore subsidiary in Dublin, Ireland. It also manages investment funds listed in Malaysia.
Oasis Bursaries
The Oasis Bursary is only offered for the degrees in the fields of Business Science and Commerce, Engineering and Built Environment, Law, Science, Multimedia and Information Technology as well as specified Honours and Master of Science degrees. Bursary Terms and Conditions
- No changing of course of study without prior written consent from Oasis.
- Maintain average of 70% for course of study. Regular progress reports should be provided by the bursary holder.
- Required participation to Oasis Vacation Work Programme.
- Signed agreement with the bursary holder and the bursary administrator.
- Upon graduation, bursary holders will be required to work for the Company within the period equivalent to bursary duration.
- Acceptance of other bursary funding is not allowed without the prior written consent of the bursary administrator.
Bursary Requirements and Eligibility
- South African citizen
- Students who wish to pursue studies within the degrees listed in the Bursary Programme Schedule 1.
- Good academic performance
- Proven financial need
How to Apply and Application Details

- Submit certified copies of the following documents in the order that it appears below:
- Completed Bursary Application Form
- Identification Documents
- Medical Certificates
- Proof of Monthly Household Income (and dependents, if applicable)
- Monthly Budget (income & expenses)
- Grade 10 to most recent Matric results (for Grade 12 learners) Academic Transcripts
- Academic Transcripts to date (Matric/A-level/O level/Bachelor’s/Honours/Masters/PhD)
- Academic Certificates to date (Matric/A-level/O level/Bachelor’s/Honours/Masters/PhD)
- Bursary/Loan Agreement
- Preliminary Acceptance Letter/s from an accredited tertiary institution
- Tax Invoice indicating fees from the Institution
- Testimonial from your Principal/Teacher/Faculty Dean/Lecturer (As applicable)
- Curriculum Vitae
- A 2-minute video
- Letter of recommendation from your parent/guardian (Optional)
- Upload your complete application form and supporting documents via WeTransfer for those who are submitting applications through email/online.

All applications should receive acknowledgment by email or post within 2 weeks of submission. Please contact the Bursary Officer at 021 413 7860, should you not receive a confirmation response.
Successful applicants will receive notification of application results on or before the end of December 2018. Should you not receive any response from the bursary committee, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
