About Beast Foundation and ETA College

The Beast Foundation is a non-profit foundation that works towards developing the next generation of African leaders through sports, education, and life skills. Founded by Tendai Mtawarira, a Zimbabwean rugby player popularly known as “The Beast” in 2020, the foundation provides necessary support to those who want to make a career in sports.

Beast Foundation has collaborated partnered up with ETA College to make things happen. ETA College is an educational institution that offers programmes in the sports and fitness industry. The programmes are registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

Currently, the college has both national and international campuses and offers classroom and virtual learning programmes.

The Beast Foundation & ETA Scholarship

The foundation aims to help budding sportspersons who want to take up sports professionally by offering financial assistance. For the upcoming academic year, the scholarships will only be offered to female students. It was announced on the eve of International Day of the Girl Child. They should be pursuing an undergraduate sports qualification at any of the ETA campuses.

There are a total of two scholarships valued at R393,000. The funds will go towards covering the registration fees and tuition fees. Students are expected to cover other expenses like accommodation and textbooks.

The scholarships will be awarded on merit. Female students who have a strong track record and have the potential to make it big are considered meritorious.
