Ruth Titilayo Secondary School Scholarship 2024
About Ruth Titilayo Foundation
The Ruth Titilayo Foundation was established with the mission of providing equitable access to education for all children, regardless of their circumstances or backgrounds. The Foundation firmly believes that education is a fundamental human right, and every child deserves the opportunity to fulfill their potential. The ultimate goal of the Ruth Titilayo Foundation is to create a world where its services are no longer necessary, as all children enjoy access to quality education.
The foundation takes its name from Ruth Titilayo (Iya Taiwo), who was born in 1955 and attended the Abeokuta Girls Grammar School. Later, she pursued her studies at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, where her passion for assisting the less privileged became evident. On the 20th anniversary of her passing, her legacy endured through the establishment of the Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation.
