Ruth Titilayo Undergraduate Scholarship 2024
About RTEF (Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation)
RTEF (Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation) was founded with the intention of providing a sound education, offering financial support, and breaking the poverty cycle for deserving children, regardless of their circumstances or background. This will help the right people gain access to world-class education and explore various opportunities to unleash their full potential, which is every child’s basic right.
The ultimate goal of RTEF is to create a ground where children from disadvantaged communities would not face any financial barriers when trying to achieve quality education. The foundation wants a world where their services would no longer be needed, as all the children will have easy access to top-class education.
RTEF was named after Ruth Titilayo (Iya Taiwo) who was born in 1955 and was a student of the Abeokuta Girls Grammar School. Titilayo later attended the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, where she enhanced her passion to help those with disadvantaged backgrounds.
Her legacy was kept alive and the Ruth Titilayo Foundation was established on her 20th Death Anniversary.
