Department of Transport is planning to award a total of 22 bursaries to applicants who are residents of KwaZulu-Natal and are interested in studying a tertiary degree. The bursary is offered for full-time study at a public Higher Learning institution and covers accommodation, meals, tuition fees, and prescribed textbooks, as required. Successful students must enter into a contract with the department for years equal to their duration of degree studies.

The Department of Economic Development, Environmental, and Tourism (DEDEAT) is offering bursaries to deserving students coming from provincial disadvantaged communities who want to or are already pursuing studies in environmental management and economic development-related degrees for the academic year 2024.

The George Municipality recognizes the significance of sustainable development of South African youth. Hence, it is inviting students to apply for its bursary program for the academic year 2024.

Bursaries may cover some parts or all parts of the total expense of studies. Students need to apply for the bursary every year. And, those who currently hold a bursary award must re-apply for its continuation. This may be subject to bursary conditions.

The ECDOT wants to boost the number of Traffic officers in the province and is searching for qualified, talented, and unemployed youth across the Eastern Cape to enroll for their NQF Level 5 Diploma qualification in Traffic.

The department will offer bursaries to eligible students and the shortlisted ones must undergo a 1-year training program. In other words, the successful candidates will have to commit to 1-year bursary contract with the Department of Transport.
