HWSETA Bursary Competition (Undergraduate)

The Health and Welfare sector Education and Training Authority is awarding bursaries to students for the upcoming academic year. The HWSETA undergraduate bursary competition is administered and organised by HWSETA and its related organisations.

HWSETA will provide two bursaries for undergraduate students in the fields of Health Science, Veterinary Science, and Social Development/ Social Science.

In partnership with Gerda Henkel Foundation, the Arts and Social Science Faculty at Stellenbosch University is offering scholarships to eligible students. Known as the Lisa Maskell-PANGeA (Partnership for Africa’s Next Generation of Academics) scholarship, it is meant for Arts and Social Sciences students. For the academic year 2023, the scholarships will be awarded to PhD students who want to conduct research in Historical Humanities.
