German private university IU International University of Applied Sciences is Germany’s top school for online education, serving students from around the world. The state-accredited, private university was founded in 1998 and offers four study options: IU Distance Learning, IU Campus Studies, IU Dual Study, and IU Part-Time.

IU International University Scholarship 2022 – 2023

Applications are being accepted for scholarship funding for students from South Africa for the 2022 academic year. Scholarships are available for online studies, leading to bachelor’s and master’s degrees in these fields:

There are 180 ECTS credits in all Bachelor’s degrees (equivalent to three years of undergraduate study), while the Master’s degrees carry 60 ECTS credits for one year of study, and 120 ECTS credits for two years of study.

Scholarships from IU will cover up to 80% of tuition fees.

The scholarship does not require work back or service.

Eligibility Criteria

The following minimum entry requirements must be met before an application can be considered (you will not be considered for admission if you fail to meet all the requirements):

English must be your native language
Applicants for the Bachelor’s degree must have completed Matriculation and hold an NSC certificate
A bachelor’s degree is required for applicants to master’s programs
Applicants to the MBA program must hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least one year of work experience
It is required that you intend to study online for one of the above Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees

Along with your online application, you will need to submit copies of the following documents (submitting these documents is mandatory – your application may be disqualified if any of them are not uploaded):

Document of identification (certified copy)
Applicants for bachelor’s degrees: Matriculation certificate
Certificate of undergraduate degree qualification for master’s degree candidates
Bachelor’s degree qualification certificate for MBA applicants

Closing Date

There is no closing date as enrolment is available throughout the year.
