To construct the final list of 1662 universities from 99 nations and territories, 2100 institutions were evaluated.

TUT Online Application Dates 

Check the list of closing dates provided below before applying online to the Tshwane University of Technology to ensure you submit your application on time. As soon as you submit your online application, you will receive an email acknowledgment with your student number (EMPLID) as soon as we receive confirmation of your submission. This means that you will need to have access to the internet and a valid email address. 

Late applications will only be considered if there is room available in the programs for which you are applying and registering in 2022. TUT can only admit a certain number of students to each program.

If you are unable to apply online, you may request a physical application form from the TUT’s Contact Centre by calling 0861102421 (option 1), sending an email to General@tut.ac.za, or downloading it from the TUT’s website at www.tut.ac.za and selecting Enrolment.

NSFAS Online Application For 2022-2023

A program run by the South African government to assist students in paying for their education is the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). In accordance with the Financial Scheme’s interests, the Financial Aid Directorate’s primary function is to provide various alternatives for student financial aid for eligible applicants. These funds will be made available to all Tshwane University of Technology campuses for qualified students who meet the requirements set out by the NSFAS.  

NSFAS aims to allocate money in a transparent and equitable manner through review and appraisal. Every year, the South African government provides more than R1.4 billion in financial aid to approximately thirty thousand (30 000) TUT students under the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). If you’re not one of them, you can take whatever steps are necessary to obtain financial support.

How to Apply to TUT?

Below are the general requirements and information that you will need in order to apply to TUT. Please make sure that you have a look at the requirements for the specific courses you wish to apply for. 

  • For the Senior Certificate, English is a required language (minimum additional language; some programs require the student to have English as their primary language).
  • It is important for you to note that each course does require different admission information and course requirements. You can check these requirements on the TUT website. 
  • Admission standards for different programs may change from year to year, so prospective students should keep this in mind.
  • Depending on the program, students will need to take an admissions test, which determines if they will be allowed to be accepted into the course they want to enroll in or not. 

How To Apply Online For TUT

  • Download the TUT Online Application form 2022-2023 from the TUT Online Application website: www.tut.ac.za.
  • Fill in all of the required information to the best of your ability.
  • Assemble all necessary supporting documents and send them to the TUT admissions office.
  • The section where the school’s headmaster will sign their name should be left blank.
  • Upon receipt of your evidence of application form submission, the evidence will be processed and passed on to the admissions department for acceptance and verification.
