How to Register for My UMP Moodle
Students who have been accepted to the University of Mpumalanga must register for Moodle access. Follow these steps to register for your My Moodle UMP account:
Visit the Official UMP Website
Go to the University of Mpumalanga's official website and click on the registration link.
Click New Registration
Once the registration process begins, the link for "New Registration" will appear on the homepage.
Fill in Your Information
Complete the form with your full name, address, contact information (email and cellphone number), and gender.
Save Your Registration
Click the "Save" button to complete your registration process.
How to Access the UMP Moodle Login
You will receive an email with your login information and password after completing registration.

Common Login Issues:

Forgotten Password Recovery:
- 1. Select Password Reset: Choose "Password Reset" from the login menu
- 2. Click "Forgotten Password": Click on "Have you forgotten your password?"
- 3. Enter Username: Enter your UMP Username and click Continue
- 4. Verify Identity: Enter your cellphone number (or secondary email) and click Continue
- 5. Get OTP: You'll receive a one-time pin (OTP) on your phone or email
- 6. Enter OTP: Input the OTP and click Continue
- 7. Set New Password: Enter your new password in both fields and click "Change Password"
- 8. Logout & Restart: Click Logout and restart your device
- 9. Update Saved Passwords: Update any saved passwords in apps or browsers
