AGSA Bursary Programme
The AGSA Bursary Programme is the Auditor-General of South Africa's own employer bursary for students pursuing the Chartered Accountancy (CA) route at SAICA-accredited universities. It is a full-cost award covering tuition, accommodation, meals and books, and leads directly into a training contract (articles) with AGSA after graduation, giving recipients exposure to public-sector financial reporting in addition to IFRS.

Eligibility Requirements
- ✓ South African citizen
- ✓ Currently in Matric or completed Matric, or already studying at a SAICA-accredited university
- ✓ Studying full-time toward a Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification
- ✓ Matric applicants: minimum 60% in English and 60% in Mathematics (Pure Maths, not Maths Literacy)
- ✓ Continuing students: minimum 60% in Financial Accounting (grade thresholds increase by year of study, up to around 55% for all core modules for final-year students)
- ✓ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with leadership potential
- ✓ Must serve articles / enter a training contract with AGSA after graduating
