SAIPA Scholarship Programme

The SAIPA Scholarship Programme is a fully-funded scholarship that supports academically strong, financially needy South African school-leavers who want to study BCom Accounting at an accredited public university. Five scholarships are awarded for the 2026 academic year, including one Rashied Small Memorial Scholarship, covering tuition, textbooks, accommodation and a monthly allowance.

Eligibility Requirements

  • South African citizen
  • In Grade 12 (Matric) or completed matric within the last two years
  • Planning to study a full-time BCom Accounting degree (or equivalent) at an accredited public South African university
  • Minimum 70% academic average in Mathematics and English
  • Household annual income not exceeding R350,000 (R600,000 if the applicant has a disability)

Who can apply for the SAIPA Scholarship?
