GIBB Bursary Programme
The GIBB Bursary Programme funds South African students studying civil, electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering at recognised universities. As a full-cost bursary it covers tuition, books, accommodation and allowances, and includes vacation work plus a candidate programme that can lead to employment at GIBB and support toward professional registration.

Eligibility Requirements

- ✓ Studying full-time toward an engineering degree (undergraduate, Honours or Master's)
- ✓ Studying in a GIBB priority discipline: Civil, Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
- ✓ Undergraduate applicants must be entering second year or higher
- ✓ Maintain a minimum academic average of around 60% (bursary renewed annually on academic results)
- ✓ Willing to take up employment at a GIBB office in South Africa after graduation if required
