Johannesburg Water Bursary
The Johannesburg Water Bursary funds South African students already studying full-time towards a BSc in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering at a recognised Gauteng university (TUT, VUT, WITS, UJ or UP). As the City of Johannesburg's municipal-owned water and sanitation utility, Johannesburg Water uses the bursary to develop scarce engineering skills for the water sector, covering tuition and study materials and offering practical work experience, mentorship and potential employment after graduation. Preference is given to female applicants and students with disabilities, and a small number of awards are made each cycle.

- ✓ Completed Matric (Grade 12) and currently studying full-time towards a BSc degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

- ✓ Strong academic record and proven financial need
- ✓ Must NOT have received a previous bursary or other funding (NSFAS excluded)
- ✓ Preference given to female applicants and students with disabilities
