- When does the MQA bursary application window open and close?
- The scheme runs annually. First-time applications for the 2026 academic year closed on 31 July 2025, and continuation applications for existing bursars closed on 22 January 2026. The next intake, for the 2027 academic year, is expected to open around mid-2026. Always check mqa.org.za/bursaries for the current dates.
