Coronation Exceptional Student Bursary
The Coronation Exceptional Student Bursary is a comprehensive, full-cost bursary for academically strong, well-rounded South African students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds who are pursuing an undergraduate Commerce-related degree at an accredited South African university. It covers all study-related expenses, adds mentorship and support, and can open a pathway to opportunities at Coronation. Recipients take on a work-back commitment of one year of service for each year funded.

Eligibility Requirements
- ✓ South African citizen
- ✓ Studying or intending to study full-time towards an undergraduate Commerce-related degree at an accredited South African university (no TVET, private colleges, community colleges, distance learning or postgraduate study)
- ✓ Matriculant / Grade 12 (2025), gap-year-after-matric, or current 1st, 2nd or 3rd year tertiary student
- ✓ New applicants: minimum 75% average including Mathematics; current students: minimum 70% average
- ✓ On track to complete the qualification in minimum time (no N+1 or higher)
- ✓ Demonstrate character, leadership potential and altruism with a well-rounded profile
- ✓ Preference given to previously disadvantaged students
- ✓ Demonstrate financial need (proof of household income required)
