QASA Education and Sports Fund
The QASA Education and Sports Fund is a discretionary member welfare fund run by the QuadPara Association of South Africa, a national non-profit representing people with spinal cord injury and physical disability. It awards partial funding on a case-by-case basis to help QASA members complete high-school, skills/vocational or tertiary studies at recognised, accredited institutions, with the aim of making them employable or self-employed. It also supports wheelchair users to take part in sporting activities, and in 2024 four students were assisted. Note this is a narrow, members-only fund rather than a structured public bursary scheme, with no published award amount or formal online application form.
