Adapt IT Bursary Programme
The Adapt IT Bursary Programme funds designated Black South African students pursuing ICT and software-focused qualifications at six approved universities, covering registration and tuition fees plus study materials and a possible laptop or resource allowance. Adapt IT Holdings (a Volaris Group company; administered via the Fundi Bursary Service Provider (BSP) portal) supports students in the following disciplines
Eligibility Requirements
- ✓ South African citizen
- ✓ Designated Black South African citizen (African, Coloured, or Indian/Asian) as defined by the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice
- ✓ Minimum overall academic average of 60% (achieved and maintained)
- ✓ Full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student entering 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or Honours year of study
- ✓ Demonstrated financial need (supported by household income documentation)
- ✓ Registered or accepted at an approved institution: University of Johannesburg (UJ), University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), Nelson Mandela University (NMU), University of Limpopo (UL), Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), or Tshwane University of Technology (TUT)
