The Royal Bafokeng Holdings & Liquid Intelligent Technologies ICT Bursary Programme funds South African students pursuing ICT-related undergraduate and postgraduate (honours) qualifications at recognised public universities and universities of technology. Administered by Tshikululu Social Investments on behalf of Liquid Intelligent Technologies and Royal Bafokeng Holdings, it forms part of a broader Liquid talent pipeline that supports 340+ university bursars across computer science, IT engineering, electrical engineering and other ICT fields. Eligible Fields of Study
Liquid Intelligent Technologies (part of Cassava Technologies), in partnership with Royal Bafokeng Holdings (administered by Tshikululu Social Investments) supports students in the following disciplines
Eligibility Requirements
- ✓ South African citizen
- ✓ Completed (or completing) matric with a minimum of 65% per subject
- ✓ Studying or accepted full-time at a recognised SA public tertiary institution (university or university of technology)
- ✓ Minimum 65% overall average in major subjects
- ✓ Entering 1st or 2nd year of an undergraduate degree, OR starting or completing a postgraduate honours degree
- ✓ Must NOT be receiving any other bursary, student financial aid or NSFAS funding
- ✓ Awarded on a first-come, first-served basis (limited number of awards; historically around 16)
