- ✓ South African citizen
- ✓ Pursuing an undergraduate or Honours degree in an eligible field
- ✓ Currently in 2nd year of study or beyond (1st-year students are NOT funded)
- ✓ Studying at one of South Africa's 26 public universities
- ✓ Not receiving NSFAS or any other bursary funding
- ✓ No outstanding student debt from previous years
- ✓ Combined family household income below R600,000 per annum
- ✓ Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
- ✓ Not a Baker Hughes employee or the child of a Baker Hughes employee
