Magalies Water External Bursary Programme
The Magalies Water External Bursary Programme funds South African students studying water-sector-related fields, with civil, electrical and mechanical engineering forming the core cluster alongside chemistry, biotechnology/microbiology, water care and financial accounting. As a state-owned bulk water board supplying North West and parts of Gauteng and Limpopo, Magalies Water runs the bursary as part of its youth development initiative, giving preference to female candidates, previously disadvantaged individuals and people with disabilities.
