Liberty Actuarial Bursary
The Liberty Actuarial Bursary funds South African Actuarial Science students from their second year of study onwards at recognised universities. As a major financial services provider in the Standard Bank Group, Liberty offers a full-cost bursary together with mentorship, vacation work and guaranteed employment after graduating.

Eligibility Requirements
- ✓ South African citizen (by birth or descent)
- ✓ Completed Matric
- ✓ Enrolled full-time toward an Actuarial Science degree at a recognised, accredited South African university
- ✓ Entering second year or higher of study in the relevant academic year
- ✓ Minimum 60% overall average
- ✓ Minimum 65% in Actuarial Science and Mathematics modules
- ✓ Demonstrated leadership qualities
- ✓ Participation in extracurricular activities (advantageous)

Work Commitment
Recipients are offered guaranteed employment at Liberty after graduating; a corresponding service commitment normally applies as set out in the bursary agreement.
