Sasria Bursary Scheme
The Sasria Bursary Scheme is the corporate social investment and scarce-skills development programme of Sasria SOC Limited, South Africa's state-owned specialist insurer for special risks such as civil unrest, riots and strikes. It supports aspiring first-year, full-time students from lower-income households (combined income below R600,000 per annum) who achieved strong Matric results in fields such as insurance, mathematics, finance and information technology. Successful applicants receive either a full bursary covering the full approved scope of funding or a partial bursary covering specific costs such as tuition or accommodation.
