Sasol Foundation Bursary
The Sasol Foundation Bursary is a broad STEM bursary funding South African students into science, technology, engineering and mathematics undergraduate degrees — distinct from the more specialised Sasol Engineering Bursary, with a lower household-income threshold and slightly different academic criteria.

- ✓ Matric obtained within the last year or currently completing matric (for 1st-year applicants)
- ✓ Minimum 50% in all matric subjects
- ✓ Mathematics Level 6 (70–79%) — Technical Maths and Maths Literacy NOT accepted
- ✓ Physical Science Level 6 (70–79%)
- ✓ Acceptance or provisional acceptance at a South African university or University of Technology
- ✓ Combined household income below R600,000 per annum
- ✓ Studying full-time toward an undergraduate STEM degree
