The National Treasury External Bursary funds South African students studying economics, accounting, taxation and internal audit - fields aligned with the Treasury's mandate to manage the country's fiscal policy and public finances.

Eligibility Requirements
- ✓ South African citizen
- ✓ Provisional acceptance or registration at a recognised South African university
- ✓ Demonstrate financial need
- ✓ Matric applicants: Grade 12 with university exemption and 65%+ aggregate
- ✓ Current university students: 65%+ average in the previous year of study
- ✓ Studying in one of the eligible Treasury priority fields

Work Commitment
