SANPC Bursary Scheme for Persons with Disabilities
The SANPC Bursary Scheme for Persons with Disabilities is a government bursary run by the South African National Petroleum Company, the new state-owned entity created from the merger of iGas, PetroSA and the Strategic Fuel Fund. It is open exclusively to South African students living with a disability and covers tuition fees and prescribed textbooks for a first qualification at NQF Level 5 to 7 or higher. It does not cover accommodation, meals, transport or living allowances.

Eligibility Requirements
- ✓ South African citizen
- ✓ Person with a disability (must submit proof of disability: a Department of Employment and Labour Employment Equity Act EEA1 form AND a diagnosis letter from a registered medical doctor)
- ✓ Registered, or to be registered, for full-time or part-time study at a DHET/CHE-recognised tertiary institution for the 2026 academic year
- ✓ Pursuing a SAQA-approved qualification at NQF Level 5 to 7 or higher (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree or Honours)
- ✓ Pursuing the qualification level for the first time (no repeat funding)
- ✓ Able to submit a certified ID copy, matric certificate, latest academic transcripts and proof of tertiary registration
