myNSFAS login
Sign in at my.nsfas.org.za or in the official NSFAS app. Your ID number is your username; you also need your password and a one-time PIN sent to your cellphone.
Avoid fake myNSFAS login pages
Use only nsfas.org.za and my.nsfas.org.za, and do not follow a login link sent by an unknown person. NSFAS will never ask for your password or one-time PIN by SMS, WhatsApp or phone, and applying is free.
How to log in

Open myNSFAS
Go to my.nsfas.org.za (also linked from www.nsfas.org.za) or open the official NSFAS app.

Enter your ID number
Your South African ID number is your username. It cannot be changed later, so check every digit.

Enter your password and one-time PIN
NSFAS sends a one-time PIN to the cellphone number on your account. Never read it out to anyone.

Choose the task you need
Apply for 2027, upload requested documents, track your application or review your result.
New to NSFAS? Register with your own ID number, cellphone number and email address; a one-time PIN activates the profile. 2027 applications close at 23:59 on 31 October 2026.
Forgot your password?
- Open the myNSFAS sign-in screen and select Forgot password.
- Follow the prompts. NSFAS sends a reset link or one-time PIN to the cellphone number and email address on your account.
- Choose a new password that only you know, then sign in with your ID number and the new password.
If you cannot access the registered cellphone number or email address, contact NSFAS on 08000 67327 or [email protected] instead of creating a duplicate profile.
