NSFAS’s Contact Us page lists WhatsApp +27 63 093 5671 and USSD *120*67327#. Its new 2027 applications page shows WhatsApp on 0800 067 327 and USSD *134*67327#. As of 12 October 2026 NSFAS had not said which is current.
The toll-free number 08000 67327 and [email protected] appear on both pages, so use those first if a WhatsApp or USSD channel does not respond.

NSFAS is running provincial application drives from 5 to 24 October 2026, before applications close at 23:59 on 31 October. Its website lists each drive’s venue and directions by province.
