Seriti Bursary Programme
Seriti Resources, a broad-based, roughly 90% black-owned South African coal and energy mining company, offers full-cost bursaries to South African students pursuing engineering and mining-related qualifications at recognised universities and universities of technology. The programme is administered in-house through Seriti's seritiza.simplify.hr applicant portal and supports students from second year through Honours, with preference for residents of local mining communities.

Eligibility Requirements

- ✓ Completed Matric
- ✓ Studying full-time (part-time students are not eligible)
- ✓ Entering 2nd, 3rd, 4th year or Honours in the funded academic year
- ✓ Registered at a recognised South African mainstream university or university of technology
- ✓ Minimum 60% overall average in the most recent year of study
- ✓ Not receiving any other bursary or financial support
- ✓ Basic understanding of relevant Mining Industry legislation, including the Mine Health and Safety Act
- ✓ Preference given to applicants residing in Seriti's local mining communities
