Siza Water Bursary
The Siza Water Bursary is a geographically restricted programme funding South African students from the Siza Water concession area (the Dolphin Coast region of KwaZulu-Natal, roughly between Etete and Zimbali) who are studying engineering and water-related fields such as chemical, civil, electrical and mechanical engineering, environmental management, town and regional planning and water/sewer treatment process control. As the private water and sanitation concessionaire for the iLembe district, Siza Water covers full tuition fees and prescribed textbooks for up to three years, conditional on the student passing all subjects each year. Preference is given to historically disadvantaged students in financial need, especially female and Black (African, Coloured, Indian) candidates.

- ✓ Studying or accepted to study full-time at a recognised, accredited South African institution
- ✓ Minimum 65% overall average and minimum 65% in the subject relevant to the chosen field of study
- ✓ In financial need - total household income not exceeding R15,000 per month
- ✓ Preference given to historically disadvantaged students, especially female and Black (African, Coloured, Indian) candidates
