Eligibility Requirements
- ✓ South African citizen
- ✓ In Matric (Grade 12) or recently completed, OR currently studying at a recognised/accredited South African university
- ✓ Prospective students: minimum 65% in Mathematics, Physical Science and English in Matric
- ✓ Students already studying: minimum overall average of 60% with a strong academic record
- ✓ Must be accepted or registered at a recognised and accredited South African university for the relevant academic year
- ✓ Preference given to applicants from local KZN Sands catchment communities (e.g. traditional councils Kwa Dube, Kwa Nzuza, Kwa Mkhwanazi, Ogagwini, Somopho, Macambini, Madlebe and municipalities uMhlathuze, uMlalazi, Mandeni)
- ✓ Women and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply
