Moshal Program (Moshal Foundation)
The Moshal Scholarship Program is a fully funded undergraduate scholarship for academically outstanding South African students from low-income backgrounds, studying STEM, Commerce, Medicine or Law at one of the partner universities. Beyond funding, Moshal provides intensive mentorship, career-readiness training and a supportive scholar community.

Moshal Program (Moshal Foundation) supports students in the following disciplines
Eligibility Requirements
- ✓ South African citizen
- ✓ Currently in Matric (Grade 12) or already studying at one of the Moshal partner universities
- ✓ Combined family income of R200,000 or less per year (before deductions)
- ✓ Minimum 70% in English, Mathematics, and Physical Science and/or Accounting
- ✓ Strong academic record overall
- ✓ Accepted into a degree programme at a Moshal partner university in a qualifying field

- Moshal partners with selected South African universities. You must be accepted at a partner institution in an eligible field of study. Check the Moshal Program website for the current list of partner universities.

- Your family's combined annual income (before deductions) must be R200,000 or less. Moshal targets academically strong students who could not otherwise afford university.
