The Shoprite Group runs one of South Africa's largest private-sector bursary programmes, awarding around 90 bursaries each year across accounting (CA Stream), agriculture, retail business management and supply chain & logistics. Recipients are placed on a clear pathway into Shoprite's graduate programmes.

  • South African citizen

  • Completed Matric with a Bachelor's pass
  • Studying or planning to study at a recognised South African tertiary institution
  • CA (SAICA) stream: 65%+ overall average and 65%+ in Accounting, Auditing & Taxation
  • Biological & Agricultural Sciences: 60%+ overall average
  • Retail Business Management: 60%+ overall average
  • Supply Chain & Logistics: 60%+ overall average

Work Commitment
